Mi Fitness Band 5: The Chinese brand Xiaomi as per reports were working on expanding its fitness tracker lineup that is its launch of Mi Band 5. The news was reported when after an anonymous leaked images of the fitness band on Chinese micro-blogging site “Weibo.”
From the images received, it can be seen that the Mi Band 5 is said to launch in the colour Black, not as fancy has other fitness bands like Samsung, Google, or Fitbit’s fitness tracker colour variety; also it is said to come with a “plug-in” option.
Some precious speculations by tech gurus and other reports had allegedly claimed that the Mi Band 5 will come with a larger display panel as compared to its predecessor. In January, an online mainstream report had stated that the Mi Band 5 is likely to offer a 1.2-inch coloured AMOLED display, in comparison to the Mi Band 4 has a 0.95-inch AMOLED display.
The speculations also suggest that Xiaomi is working on bringing NFC support to the Mi Band 5, it is said to function globally. Xiaomi already offered NFC support in Mi Band 4 but it is limited to only Chinese region.
As of now, there is no official reports from Xiaomi on this matter on the launch of Mi Band 5. However, Xiaomi’s arch-nemesis more like, competitor Realme also recently launched its first fitness band in India, called the “Realme Band.”
The Realme Band comes in three colour strap options, Black, Yellow, and Green. The price of the band in India is at Rs.1,499, they also offer features like heart rate monitoring, health assistant, sleep quality monitor, idle alert, and water drinking reminder with up tp 9 days of battery life and more.
